A good place for companies and people
A common misconception is that it is expensive and complicated to establish a business in Sweden. But, in fact, Sweden has a relatively low level of corporate tax (26.3%) and straightforward regulations. There are, for example, no special restrictions on foreign-owned companies and it is easy to get work permits. Organizations such as Automotive Sweden, Business Region Göteborg and Invest in Sweden Agency offer free services for establishing a company.

 
Life outside work is also attractive in Sweden. A survey from Unicef (2007) about childrens´ well-being shows that Sweden leads three out of six categories. Healthcare and school are of high class. There is good social security. The Right of Public Access is a unique right allowing people to roam freely in the Swedish countryside. Housing prices are low from an international perspective, even in the three biggest cities Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö.
