Bo Andersson, President and CEO of GAZ will speak about Russia
Bo Andersson, President and CEO of the Russian auto giant GAZ, with a background from Saab and GM, will present his thoughts on the future development of the global automotive industry. “ Soon Russia will be a part of and compete on the global automotive market," comments Bo Andersson ahead of Automotive Forum 2012.
Bo Andersson began his career with GM in 1987 as a manager at Saab. After holding various leadership positions, he was appointed as Vice President of purchasing for Saab in 1990. In August 1993, Andersson transitioned from Saab to GM as Executive Director of the worldwide purchasing electric commodity group. Bo Andersson was promoted to the role of GM group Vice President of global purchasing and supply chain on 1 April 2007. Prior to this assignment, Andersson was Vice President of global purchasing and supply chain between 2001 and 2007. He was responsible for GM´s global purchasing, supplier quality, logistics, order fulfilment, and supply operations.
